I think it has almost become a “tradition” for me to buy something from asos.com EVERY month. And it has been like this for the past 2 years. There’s always something nice on that site that I just HAVE to buy. And this month is no exception. This is what’s landing in my mailbox within the next 4-8 days:
ASOS Press Stud Back Skinny Jeans in the style of Nicole Richie 28 £ (269 DKK)
ASOS Abstract Print Chiffon Shirt Dress. On sale: 12 £ (115 DKK)
I can’t wait for it to get here! Mostly because I really need some new jeans. But the dress is gorgeous too and I can’t wait for an opportunity to wear it! I might already have a party in mind 😉 /Jeanett
… and I’m not flying with Sterling haha. (The danish company Sterling filed a petition in bankruptcy today).
I’ve been looking around the internet and bought some travelbooks about Milan. I love planning on what to see when I’m there – it’s half of the fun planning everything and having something to look forward to. I’m not so far in the planning yet, but I’m sure of 3 things to do when I’m there:
1. I want to see the big Milan Cathedral (also known as Duomo di Milano). It’s the worlds third biggest church and it’s over 600 years old. And the view from the roof is surposed to be amazing. They say that you on a good day with great weather can see the Alps from there.
2. I would love to see the painting “The Last Supper” by Leonardo DaVinci. It’s in the convent of the small church Santa Maria delle Grazie. The fresco is really huge and in really bad shape. I thinks it’s a “must” to see while we’re there. But I’ve been told that you can’t just turn up and go see it – we have to buy tickets online some months before so I’m already looking into that now.
3.Shopping and great food! Milan is undeniably one of the fashion capitals of the world so I HAVE to do some shopping while I’m there. I better start putting some money a side now…
I know that we’re going until march, but I’m already looking so much forward to it! If you have any tips or tricks then please let me know! I want to see everything while I’m there!
I have the coolest english teacher. And today I persuaded him to spend the last 15 minutes of our lesson watching silly videos on youtube. I know that a lot of you probably already know this one, but I’ll never get tired of wacthing it so here it is. It’s so freaking funny… Almost 9 million people have watched it on youtube.
Look how sweet my Mr. Boyfriend was today. 3 deep red roses – they’re beautiful and they smell SO nice.
I found out that not all people are familiar with the term “I-love-you-roses”, but it just means that you’re given 3 roses – one for each word: 1, I 2, love 3, you. Now I’m looking even more forward to giving him his birthdaygift next week!
It finally happend. I bought my first thing on ebay. I’ve started out with finding something on ebay UK so I didn’t have to go through the whole customs-thing. I paid for it today and it’s now on it’s to my mailbox all the way from Liverpool, UK. Yes, it’s a bit too much but I’m gonna wear it for New Years so it’s ok to be a bit too much on the last/first day of the year. 2009 will certainly notice me, that’s for sure! I think I’m gonna style it a bit different though. I think I’m gonna take of the satin bow and put on a more “rough” belt (black leather or knits) just to give it some more edge.
I’m going to be in Copenhagen for New Years this year. I’m going to celebrate it with Mr. Boyfriend (of course), Katrine & Andreas (at their place), Cuong and Nanna C. So far, that is. A couple of more people have been invited so maybe we’ll be a few more. I’m actually happy about not going to a big party this year. I don’t know if it’s because I’m getting old(er) or if it’s because last year’s big “monkey”-party just was such a disappointment. Anyway, I’m really looking forward to spending the night with some really great friends. How are you gonna celebrate it?
