It’s time for another outfit-flash. I’ve spent the day together with my parents, lil’bro, lil’sis + boyfriend and my very own Mr. Boyfriend. It was my Daddy’s 47th birthday (Happy birthday Dad!) so we went there to celebrate him with cards, gifts and great food! This was my outfit:
Purple silk tunic/dress
(the colour is most true in the picture in the lower right corner), French Connection UK
Black slim jeans, Only Black studded belt, asos.com
Gold bracelet, a gift from lil’sis (bought in Spain)
Gold/purple earrings (not shown), Pilgrim
I’ve desided to go a bit more crazy with my newyears outfit this year than I normally do. I want a lot of sparkle this time so I can’t get enough of sequins! If I were a celeb or just had more than enough money thenI would love, love, LOVE to wear the same dress as american country singer Taylor Swift. The to-die-for dress is from Kaufman Franco and Taylor wore it this month at the Country Music Awards.

Insted I’m going to say goodbye to 2008 and “Hello ’09!” in this sequin dress from the english high street brand Primark. I found it on ebay (UK) for a bargain-price of 190 DKK (incl delivery). It doesn’t get any cheaper than that! And it fits beautifully. What do you think? Have you found your newyears-outfit yet?

Finally! I’ve been guessing on who would be the next big designer who will design for H&M and it has just been revealed that it’s Matthew Williamson. I’m really looking forward to that. The last collection H&M made with Comme des Garçons was a disaster if you ask me! It was ugly clothes and way too expensive. Matthew Williamson is much more my kind of designer. You’ve probably already seen a lot of his dresses on celebrities on the red carpet. His designs are girly, light, colourful (he especially has a “thing” for pink) and he loves prints too.
A small preview from the Matthew Williamson for H&M collection
The line will be in selected H&M stores from April 23 2009. I’m crossing my fingers and saying a silent prayer that Odense will be chosen this time. We have been overlooked the last two times. We haven’t had any of the lines since Viktor & Rolf designed for H&M and with now 3 H&Ms in the city it should be possible that at least one of them got the line. Matthew W. is also going to design some styles for the H&M summer collection. These pieces will be avaible in store from mid-may and these are being sold in EVERY H&M store… yay!! Wonder how many bitches I have to fight to get my hands on that line? The only worry I have is the prices. The Comme des Garcons collection was insanely expensive (considering it to be a collection for a high street brand like H&M) and I’m worried that this one might be too.
Here’s what Matthew Williamsons own line normally looks like – seen on the runway and on the red carpet. I predict that we’re going to see some of the same bright coloured and printed fabrics. I can’t wait.
I’m spending the day in bed with a really, really sore throat. I’m feeling very sick. And it sucks… and I’m really bored. Tim was sick last week and I bet it has caught up with me now. I’m really feeling like shit…
… and really great on the other hand. I’ve felt so much in love these days (not that I don’t feel that all the time it’s just more intense right now) and I’m loving it. I don’t know why – I just think that he’s so freaking wonderfull.
I promissed that I would flash some of my outfits once in a while and since I haven’t done that yet I thought it was time. So here’s what I was wearing last night at my christmasparty:
Dress in silk that changes colour from grey at the top to almost black in the bottom, from Gestuz Studded belt from asos.com Black tights from H&M Black patent heels from asos.com “Gold” bracelet, a gift from my sister
– bought in Spain
Black hairpice, bought at trendsales.dk
60s earrings, bought at trendsales.dk
Dark purple nail polish colour “Bad temper” from H&M
